Shipping & Returns

What is your order processing time?

We aim to process all orders within 3 business days, but may need up to 5 days from time to time. Slow Goods is a small operation here in the Midwest, and we appreciate your patience!

Domestic Shipping

Orders within the US are shipping via USPS Priority Mail. Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email with tracking and your order should arrive within 2-5 business days.

International Shipping

At this time, we are shipping internationally via UPS and USPS Priority International. International orders may take 6-10 business days in transit, though longer shipping times may be possible due to customs issues or shipping delays. 

Please note that International customers are responsible for all import taxes and duties in the destination country. Slow Goods Studio cannot mark shipments as 'gift' or 'low commercial value'. Slow Goods cannot estimate or pay any import duties or customs fees associated with international orders/shipping.

Returns within the United States

Any full-price, unworn and unwashed garments delivered within the United States may be returned for refund within 7 days of receiving your order (excluding Custom garment orders). Purchases made using a gift card or store credit are eligible for store credit only. Garments marked Samples, Seconds, or Final Sale are not eligible for returns. Please email hello@slowgoodsstudio.com with your return request to receive a return shipping label.

Items must be returned within 10 days of the date the return shipping label is issued. Refunds will not be processed for returns made more than 10 days after the date the return shipping label is issued. All items must be returned in unworn, unwashed and undamaged condition, and must be returned with all tags in order to be eligible for a return. All returns will be processed following an inspection of the items. We do not process exchanges at this time.

Returns from outside the United States

Please note all international orders are considered final sale once shipped and will not be considered eligible for return or exchange. This is due to customs taxes and fees that will be incurred during the returns process.

Holiday 2024 Return Policy

Orders placed between November 26 - December 31, 2024 may be returned for refund within 7 days of receiving your order (excluding Custom garments, Garments marked Samples, Seconds, or Final Sale), according to our standard return policy. To accommodate returns during the gift-giving season, any return requests made beyond the usual 7 day return window will be eligible to return for store credit (in the form of a Slow Goods gift card) for orders placed between November 26 - December 31, 2024. To be eligible for a return for store credit, any return requests for an order placed between November 26 - December 31, 2024 must be made on/before January 2, 2025. Orders placed before November 26, 2024 or after December 31, 2024 are not eligible for the Holiday 2024 Return Policy.

Can I cancel my order?

Any order (excluding final sale and custom garment orders) may be canceled prior to shipment. Once an order has been shipped, it is then in transit to its destination, and the order cannot be canceled. If you wish to return an order that is in transit to a destination within the United States, it must be delivered and received by the recipient, then a request for return can be processed.

Can I return a Custom garment order?

Custom garments, including Custom made-to-order Color Block Jackets are non-refundable.

Can I return cut yardage?

All fabric sales are final. Once an order has been placed and fabric has been cut, we cannot process returns or exchanges.

Can I return home goods?

Yes, we accept returns of home goods within 7 days of order delivery date. Please email hello@slowgoodsstudio.com with your return request to receive a return shipping label.

Lost, stolen and returned packages

Slow Goods Studio is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please include a valid and safe shipping address, watch package tracking, and communicate with carriers directly about deliveries. Once the package is shown as delivered, Slow Goods is unable to obtain additional information from our partner carriers. We recommend contacting and filing a claim with the carrier(s) to resolve any issues relating to lost or stolen packages.

Return shipping costs

Slow Goods Studio provides return shipping labels, but we do not cover return shipping costs.  The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Any items that are returned worn, damaged, or washed will not be refunded. Slow Goods Studio is not responsible for any return items that are lost or damaged in transit.
