Painted Stripes Quilt Vest #1

This Painted Stripes Quilt Vest is a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art.  Fully reversible and meticulously pieced from scraps of hand painted organic cotton fabrics, this piece can be worn with multi-color painted stripes out, or with the perfectly imperfect hand-painted blue cotton twill side out. Ready to layer, the front of the vest maintains a simple, no-closure aesthetic. From paint-mixing, color-blocking, to cut, quilt and sew, this piece was handmade with love in the Slow Goods home studio.

Materials + Care: European imported, GOTS certified, 12 oz. and 8 oz. brushed organic cotton twill. Color fabrics are painted in the Slow Goods home studio in micro batches. Machine wash cold, gentle cycle. Tumble dry low heat, medium iron. Like any quality piece of workwear denim, this piece will continue to soften and colors gently fade with time, as it is washed and lived in.
